As a student who resides in Capitola, the decision to attend Bellarmine was made taking into account, among other things, that I'd be spending about two hours a day commuting. But from the moment I set foot on campus as an eighth grader to shadow with a current student, I knew it would be worth it. I immediately got a warm, energetic, and friendly welcome from everyone who greeted me, the sense of brotherhood was very evident, and the presence of the Jesuit priests on campus made it extra special. I was excited to learn about everything Bellarmine had to offer and driven to become a part of it. Although Bellarmine's vast range of academic courses is impressive, the extra-curricular activities that are offered have been life-changers. I entered my freshman year as a total stranger to my classmates, but through the many social events such as Party in the Quad and the Back-to-School mixer, I have made a lot of new friends. Two years later, I am a proud member of Bellarmine’s Associated Student Body, Big Brothers' Program, Arrupe Ambassadors, Campus Ministry, and a few student-run clubs. My experience at Bellarmine, thus far, has been amazing!
