A Mother's Perspective: Rocio

Bellarmine has been a huge blessing for my family. The Bellarmine Mothers' Guild offers me the opportunity to actively participate in numerous Bellarmine events, so I can be part of my son’s high school experience. My son, Arturo, graduated class of 2017 and is pursuing Mechanical Engineering at the University of Redlands. My son, Daniel, is part of the class of 2020 and is thriving academically and socially. He has enjoyed his high school experience by participating in numerous extra-curricular activities.

We chose Bellarmine because it is very important for our sons to continue to grow academically, spiritually, and personally. Bellarmine is helping us form our sons to be men for and with others. Bellarmine’s rigorous academic classes challenge Daniel to learn and establish a relationship with his teachers, so he can achieve his highest potential. He has enjoyed actively participating in the Justice Summit and looks forward to being a Big Brother and Arrupe Ambassador. He is also a member of the Latino Student Union, track, and cross-country team.

When he walks on campus, Daniel feels the brotherhood that gives him a good energy. He looks forward to the start of the year, so he can continue making memories he will cherish forever. Bellarmine has been the perfect fit for our family and we are eternally grateful for the generous tuition assistance program.
