I went to tutor kids at the Amigos de Guadalupe center for kids. The kids there were grateful to receive help from me and the other BCP freshmen as we assisted them with their homework. I definitely feel like I made a change for the better when I had helped them. Overall, it was a great experience and I will do it again soon.

I helped with a demo of "WeLens" which is a virtual reality video of our solar system. It was fun meeting new kids from different backgrounds who all wanted to find out more about the solar system. I learned that volunteering is a good way to meet new people.

While working at Kids&Company, I realized how fun, and stressful, it is to be put in charge of younger kids. Working with them can be hard, but it comes with the reward of knowing that they look up to you and enjoy being under your care.
