Bellarmine Theatre’s Fall Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder
Winner of Best Musical at the 2014 Tony Awards, the musical comedy A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder follows a social climber in 1909 England who will stop at nothing—including serial murder—to inherit his birthright. The musical derives from the same source novel as the film Kind Hearts and Coronets, in which Alec Guinness (a.k.a. Star Wars’ Obi Wan Kenobi) famously played eight members of the same family; in the play, one actor plays eight men and one woman.
