Bellarmine set the foundation of who I am. The rigorous education prepared me for college and a successful professional career, but what set Bellarmine apart is the emphasis on social justice. Bellarmine framed how I view my place in the world and my responsibility to others. The commitment inspired by the Ignatian spirit is reflected in the community of Jesuits, faculty, staff, and friends. At Bellarmine, I found a family that was there for me when I faced cancer and I continue to count on that family to this day. I strive to live the ideals that were instilled in me at Bellarmine and while I often fall short, I am grateful for the North Star that I can return to when I am lost. Bellarmine is a unique place that nourished my mind and soul and I am forever thankful that I call it my alma mater.
