Dear Bellarmine parents,
Please thank your sons for how well they transitioned to our remote learning plan. Our faculty approached the day with a wonderful spirit and many creative online lesson plans took place. Some classes connected with one another via Microsoft Teams, while others engaged in lessons on Canvas.
As many of you have heard by now, Santa Clara County has shut down all schools in Santa Clara County for the next three weeks through April 3rd. As a result, our remote learning plan will be extended for one more week – through April 5th. We will plan to re-start school on April 6th.
Remote Learning Schedule (3/16-3/20):
- Monday 3/16 - No remote instruction
- Tuesday 3/17 - No remote instruction
- Wednesday 3/18 - Remote instruction resumes at 9:15 AM (1-2-3-4-5)
- Thursday 3/19 - Remote instruction begins at 9:15 AM (1-6-7-2-3)
- Friday 3/20 - Remote instruction begins at 9:15 AM (4-5-6-7)
If your son runs into technical difficulties, he can email HELPDESK@BCP.ORG.
If your son is not able to work remotely due to illness, please email ATTENDANCEOFFICE@BCP.ORG by 9:00AM.
Our counselors and campus ministers will continue to care for your sons. They will be reaching out to students early next week with more information about how students can schedule appointments or check in during office hours.
One of the hallmarks of Jesuit education is cura personalis – care for the individual. As your son spends more of his time now with fewer people, we recognize that individual care is more important than ever, and we all stand ready to support and care for your son personally and individually throughout our remote learning time.
