Wade Hall Razed to Make Way for New Academic Center

Capital Campaign, Wade Hall Demolition

Bellarmine’s campus continues to be transformed as Wade Hall (formerly St. Robert’s Hall) is being demolished, making way for the new Wade Academic Center. In addition, Berchmans Hall will be relocated to a portion of the Hedding Street parking lot as a component of what will be an improved entrance to campus.

In November, members of the Bellarmine Jesuit community moved into their new residence on University Avenue, next to O’Donnell Hall.

The 21-classroom Wade Academic Center, named in honor of Fr. Jerry Wade, S.J. ’55 and his parents, is scheduled to be open in time for the 2025/2026 academic year. The new facility will include the James A. Harville ’63 Speech and Debate Hub and the Fr. Dick Cobb, S.J. Center for Adult Spirituality.

Additional information about the Capital Campaign is available at https://www.bcp.org/capitalcampaign. Those wanting to support the Campaign are encouraged to contact Pat Arnold ’84, director of development, at parnold@bcp.org or by phone at 408.537.9226.
