The San Francisco 49ers Foundation recently honored Bellarmine college counselor Jenny Uribe for the outstanding work she performed while serving the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit High School community. She had been nominated by her former supervisor at Cristo Rey, which was where Jenny was employed prior to making the move to Bellarmine.
Jenny, whose journey with Bellarmine’s counseling department began this academic year, was recognized in May by the 49ers Foundation as a recipient of its Follow Your Bliss award, which honors “… educators who lead our future generation with purpose, passion, dedication, and love despite uncertainties and any hurdles they may face.”
Jenny and the other honorees are scheduled to be recognized during the 49ers game on Friday, August 25.
