Parent and Alumni Connections

Parent Groups

Bellarmine Mothers' Guild (BMG)

The Bellarmine Mothers' Guild (BMG) coordinates several events each year. From their largest endeavor, the annual Mothers' Guild Fashion Show for Financial Aid, to their assistance with the winter warmth and spring food drives, the BMG embraces the philosophy of being "women for and with others." The organization also provides the opportunity for mothers to deepen their relationships with their sons, with their friends, and with God, by sponsoring several events every year including the Mother-Son Event, the Women's Day of Reflection, and the Mother-Son Liturgy, in addition to cultural events such as Diwali and Lunar New Year.

Dads' Club

The Dads’ Club is also a service-minded organization, with its mission to aid in the development of "men for and with others." Parents in Bellarmine's winter warmth and spring food drives, they add their own twist by bringing football and friendly competition into the mix. The Dads' Club runs concessions at football and basketball games, sponsors annual events such as the Father-Son Christmas Mass and Brunch, and proffers their support on the Tijuana immersion trip and the K-Bell Track Meet.

Alumni Mothers Extended Network (A.M.E.N)

Alumni Mothers Extended Network (A.M.E.N.) is a welcoming community of Bellarmine alumni mothers who carry forward the tradition of men and women for and with others. Through social, spiritual, and service opportunities, A.M.E.N. provides a meaningful way for moms to stay connected with Bellarmine and with one another long after their sons graduate. Members enjoy fellowship through activities like interest groups, retreats, and community events, while also giving back through volunteer service and support at Bellarmine gatherings. A.M.E.N. offers a special space to continue Bellarmine friendships and live out the spirit of camaraderie and service.

Dads of Grads

Dads of Grads (DOGs) is a community of fathers of Bellarmine alumni who want to stay connected with Bellarmine and with each other. Our mission is to support the Christian, social, and developmental life of the Bellarmine community while providing dads a meaningful way to stay involved after graduation.

Throughout the year, DOGs hosts and participates in events like the annual Dads Retreat, a Memorial Mass, and joint gatherings with AMEN (the mothers of Bell grads). We also welcome new ideas for activities that strengthen and serve the Bellarmine community.

Membership is open to dads of at least one Bellarmine graduate. If you still have sons at BCP—or more on the way—you’re welcome to join once your first son graduates.

Alumni Opportunities

Alumni Volunteer Program

Bellarmine College Prep’s Alumni Volunteer Program is a service program for alumni who have recently completed their undergraduate degree. Our vision is to build intentional community and leadership through service to the school for an academic year. Through their work, alumni volunteers (AVs) gain a deeper appreciation for their school and service-learning while living with fellow alumni volunteers. The AVs also grow in their understanding of Ignatian spirituality through community life and regular meetings with members of the Bellarmine faculty and Jesuit community.

Alumni Council

The Alumni Council was created in the early 1980s during the Presidency of Fr. Jerry Wade, S.J. ’55, and its current membership is 35 alumni representing seven different decades. The council meets six times per year, two of which are dinners with the retired priests at the Sacred Heart Jesuit Center in Los Gatos. Per its charter, “the purpose of the Bellarmine College Preparatory Alumni Council shall be to develop and to maintain alumni interest in, advocacy of, and support for the programs and future of the school.” They serve as ambassadors for the school in the larger Bay Area community, engage in regular community service projects, and support a variety of school events and projects, such as hosting the Alumni Football Tailgate, soliciting sponsors for the Golf Classic, assisting with Senior Networking Luncheon, volunteering at the Sacred Heart Nativity student Christmas party, and providing food at alumni games throughout the year.
