Aditya Indla ’22 has been recognized by Ms. Jayathma Wikramanayake, the United Nations Secretary-General's Envoy on Youth. Aditya is among those featured in the global series "10 YOUNG LEADERS WHO INSPIRE YOU TO CHANGE THE WORLD DURING COVID-19". His efforts, and the work and contributions of faculty member and Maker Lab coordinator David Dutton, as well as several other students, alumni, and parents, resulted in the production of much needed face shields for healthcare professionals during the current pandemic crisis. “We will get through this crisis,” noted Ms. Wikramanayake. “And when we do, I am sure that history will show the world’s young people helped to build a bridge from fear to hope and from confusion to understanding.”
