BellsGive: A Day of Giving
BellsGive is Bellarmine’s annual day of giving held in celebration of Founders’ Day, when the school first opened its doors in 1851. It’s a 24-hour effort that brings together the entire Bellarmine community to support the programs and people that define the Bellarmine experience.
It’s also our only fundraiser that invites participation from our entire community, including students, and measures success by the number of gifts as much as the dollars raised.
What BellsGive Supports
Gifts made during BellsGive directly support essential programs:
- The Bellarmine Fund: Providing flexible funding for academics, athletics, arts, campus ministry, and student life
- Direct Tuition Assistance Fund: Ensuring that a Bellarmine education remains accessible to qualified students from all backgrounds
- Athletics: Supporting 36 teams with coaching, equipment, and training that build discipline and leadership.
- Campus Ministry: Funding retreats, service programs, and spiritual formation that bring Jesuit values to life.
- Performing Arts: Enabling programs that help students express and develop their talents.
- Robotics: Powering one of the nation’s top programs with cutting-edge tools and competition access.
- Speech & Debate: Sustaining a nationally recognized program that builds confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- First-Gen College Tours: Funding an annual trip for first-generation college aspirants to visit colleges and universities.
Together, these funds make it possible for Bellarmine to deliver a transformative Jesuit education to every student.

For 175 years, Bellarmine has called on its students to be men for and with others, who seek justice and truth throughout their lives. Founders' Day is an opportunity for the Bellarmine community to honor and celebrate the Ignatian educators who built the foundation of faith and service we stand on today.
