Feast of Santo Niño

Sun Jan 27

10:00am - 1:00pm

Location: Bellarmine Quad

The Mothers' Guild Community Engagement Team is proud to sponsor a celebration of the Feast of Santo Niño.

We'll begin with a traditional procession in the Quad followed by the Mass at 10am. Traditional Filipino cuisine and desserts will be served from 11am to 12pm. Entertainment will begin at 12 noon, including traditional Filipino dances that originated from the different Islands of the Philippines that will be performed by members of the Bellarmine Filipino Student Association and their friends.

The story of Santo Niño is the reason why the Islands of the Philippines are a Christian nation. Let us take you on this journey through dances, culture, colorful costumes, and food. All families are invited to join us as we promote awareness of the Filipino heritage and its history to our children.
