Board of Regents

The purpose of the Board of Regents is to advise and assist the Board of Trustees, the President, and the Principal. Current members of the Board of Regents may be found here.

Thomas E. McGannon, Chair

Thomas is an entrepreneur, software engineer, founder of Nexo, Octopus, and Metropolis Software. Thomas, a graduate of Stanford University, is the father of Bellarmine alumni Conor ’13, Ryan ’16, and Brady ’18. He is also a member of Bellarmine’s Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee.

Mike Barone ‘84, Vice-Chair

Mike is the Vice President of Strategy and Sales Operations, for Xilinx, Inc. A graduate of Santa Clara University, Mike previously held positions with companies including Monterey Design Systems, Cadence Design Systems, and Texas Instruments. He also serves on Bellarmine’s Investment Committee.

Maurice Cooper ‘97

Maurice Cooper ’97 is senior vice president of Guest Experience and Brand Marketing for Target Corporation, where he oversees Target’s marketing. Maurice leads a team that develops brand strategy and executes brand marketing activity designed to build consideration and equity, category and promotional marketing that drives demand for Target’s broad assortment, and all paid, owned and earned media activity, built on a $1 billion annual investment. He previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Growth & Experience Officer at Wingstop Restaurants and has had executive brand marketing roles at Intercontinental Hotels Group and The Coca-Cola Company. Maurice began his career as a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and is a graduate of both the Darden School of Business at University of Virginia, where he received his MBA, and Morehouse College, where he received a BA in Marketing.

Lidwine da Silva

Lidwine is a mother of two Bellarmine alumni of the classes of 2017 and 2021. A former Engineer, she left her engineering job to raise and spend time with her children. She loves children and has worked in education for over ten years, first with elementary grade students and later with special education students. Lidwine, a native of the West-African country of Benin, has been living in the U.S. since 1998 with her husband, Francisco. Their oldest son, Earvin, is 22 years of age, just graduated from USC with a bachelor’s in Business and Risk Management, and is now working with Deloitte. Their youngest son, Ian, is 18 years old and is heading to Cal Poly this fall to study Architectural Engineering. Lidwine has returned to school to get her master’s in Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University. She loves to travel and has been to various countries on five continents. She also loves to volunteer at her church and help at non-profit organizations like Sacred Heart Community Service and Catholic Charities.

Ray Davilla ’65

Ray is a retired Santa Clara County Superior Court judge. Ray is a graduate of Santa Clara University and the SCU School of Law. An actively engaged community member, Ray also serves on the boards of Via Services and Martha’s Kitchen, is a member of the Santa Clara University Board of Fellows and is a former Board member of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County.

Liliana S. Deck

Liliana is a past parent (Joseph’17 and Peter’19). Her professional work and academic research focus on family migration, education, and health care in transnational settings. Liliana is a member of Bellarmine’s Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee.

Robbyn M. Denzel

Robbyn chairs the Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee. Robbyn, mother of Bellarmine alumni Colin ’17 and Brennan ’19, is an actively engaged community volunteer whose commitments beyond Bellarmine include the Helping Hands group at St. Simon Parish serving those in need. Robbyn has an engineering background having worked previously in the semiconductor industry.

Steve Giachetti ’92

Steve is a proud member of Bellarmine’s Class of 1992. After graduating from Santa Clara University, he held various high-tech sales positions throughout Silicon Valley. Steve is currently a Vice President at Filice Insurance, where he has worked since 2002. He has been a member of the Bellarmine Alumni Council since 1996, serving as its President in 2018-2019. Steve has been an advisory member on Bellarmine’s Faculty, Student, Parent Life (FSPL) Committee since 2015. His volunteer affiliations include Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, and St. Christopher’s Parish & School. Steve and his wife, Amy, are the proud parents of two daughters, Sofia and Adele.

Jonathan Harvey

Jonathan is senior vice president of construction for Devcon, where he has worked since 1994. Jon’s extensive training and experience with scheduling, estimating and project management software has been a great benefit to the school’s Physical Resources Committee, which he chairs. He is the proud father of Bellarmine alumni Berk ’17 and Louis ’19. He received his BSC degree with a major in Finance from Santa Clara University.

Adnan Iqbal '00

Adnan is the co-founder & CEO of Luma Health, a health technology company solving one of the biggest challenges in healthcare -- getting a patient to the right healthcare provider and to the best healthcare outcome quickly. The company has raised $160M+ in capital from leading investors including FTV Capital, US Venture Partners, Texas Medical Center, InHealth Ventures, DocuSign, and the Stanford-StartX Fund. Adnan holds a BS in Environmental Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and graduate degrees from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and the Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. Adnan and his wife, Sharmeen, are blessed with two lovely daughters. Adnan is a member of Bellarmine’s Budget Committee.

Chris Kearns ’85

Chris is chief legal officer for Trupanion, Inc. Previously he was EVP, chief corporate lawyer for Chubb Limited, the world’s largest publicly traded property & casualty insurance company; general counsel at teen-retailer Hot Topic, Inc., and partner at Cooley LLP representing tech and life sciences startups. Chris helped create and lead the alumni group Bellarmine in New York, from its 2008 inception through 10+ years of NY alum-funded East Coast college tours for Bell juniors. He graduated from UCLA and UC Hastings.

Rocio Martinez

Rocio has been an actively engaged member of the Bellarmine Mothers’ Guild during the time her sons (Arturo ’17, Daniel ’20, and Noel ‘24) have been students. Her passion for the school continues as two of her sons are now alumni. Rocio is a member of the Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee.

Rob Meinhardt ’87

Rob is co-founder of Furious Collective and serves on the Board of FloQast, Beech Valley and Condati. A graduate of Yale, Rob spent his career in venture backed startups, notably as co-founder and CEO of KACE which was acquired by Dell in 2010. Rob and his wife, Kerrin, have three children: Bellarmine alumnus Will ’19 and daughters Quinn and Peyton. He is also a member of the Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee.

Margaret A. Petrus

Margaret is director of R&D at VMware, specializing in the area of Network Virtualization with particular focus on real-time monitoring and analytics. A graduate of the University of British Columbia and Bishop’s University, Margaret is the mother of Bells Matthew ’19 and Joshua ’21. She is a member of the Faculty Student Parent Life (FSPL) Committee.

Roger Quinlan ’83

Roger is senior vice president of Global Sales and Service with Coherent, Inc., where he is responsible for all global revenue. He previously held a variety of key positions with SAP. Roger is the father of Bellarmine alumnus Riley ’13 and is a member of our Alumni Council.

Brandon Rebboah, Esq. ’09

Brandon is an estate planning attorney at Berliner Cohen, LLP in San Jose where his practice focuses on estate planning and sophisticated wealth transfer strategies. He received his B.A. from Santa Clara University, his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, and his LL.M. (Taxation) from the Georgetown University Law Center. Brandon, a past Chair of Bellarmine’s Young Alumni Council, currently serves on Bellarmine’s Audit Committee. He is also a Steering Committee member of the Catholic Community Foundation of Santa Clara County.

Carlos Rosario '01

Carlos is corporate counsel at Google's drone delivery company Wing, where he oversees all product-related legal functions, including the airborne delivery of burritos, medicine, and coffee. As a volunteer, Carlos serves on the San Jose Planning Commission, and on the Board of Directors of Sacred Heart Community Services. Carlos graduated from the University of Southern California with a BS and MS in computer engineering, and from Santa Clara University School of Law with a JD. Carlos has two young children and coaches their Little League teams here in San Jose.

Robert Schlossman ‘86

Robert is the Chief Legal Officer of Zscaler, Inc. Robert is also the father of alumnus Zachary ’19. Robert has been a key advisor to CEOs, management teams, and boards of directors of public, private equity, and venture capital backed companies. He is a member of Bellarmine’s Audit Committee.

Todd M. Teresi ’90

Todd is vice president, advertising platforms, at Apple. An alumnus and parent of two Bells, Todd leads engineering, product, operations, marketing and customer teams focused on Apple News Advertising and App Store Search Ads. He is a graduate of Claremont McKenna College.
