The 2019 Bellarmine Swim & Dive team will look to follow up strong from the 2018 season, which was one of the finest in school history. The 2018 Bells were WCAL Champions, CCS Champions, and finished 3rd at the CIF State Championship Meet. The 2019 Bells will return high impact swimmers as well as quality depth.

Varsity Swimming

 
The Bells will be led by senior and CCS Champion sprinter Max Saunders. Saunders was also a top 10 finisher in both sprint freestyle events at the State meet. Additionally, the Bells will expect big impacts from returners Kevin Sichak, Matthew Choi, Ryan Kirton, and Chris Roling. As always the Bells will rely on their tremendous depth and exceptional work ethic to carry them through another successful season.

Varsity head coach Mark Taliaferro '87 was an All-American swimmer at Bellarmine and went on to swim at USC.  Mark has been a professional swim coach for the past 28 years and is currently the 12 & Under Director of Swimming for the Santa Clara Swim Club.Varsity Assistant swim coach Shayne Fleming was an All-American swimmer out of Valley Christian High School and swam competitively at Cal, where he was part of three National Championship Teams.
