Art Exploration
Students entering 6th through 8th grade

Throughout the week, students will create images using a variety of materials. The students will explore ideas relating to her/his own life experiences. Experimentation and creativity are encouraged. ($150)

College Guidance Seminar
Students entering the 12th grade who do not attend BCP, Presentation or Notre Dame High School

This seminar is for rising seniors who need help in the college exploration and application process. During this seminar students will explore a wide range of college options, learn about applications and techniques. They will also undertake the college essay writing process. They will finish the seminar with a list of prospective colleges, an application plan and two completed college application essays. Katy Murphy, Bellarmine’s Director of College Counseling, and Dr. Peggy Hock, Director of College Counseling at the Pinewood School, will teach this course. ($350)

Hip-Hop Dance and Radio Broadcasting
All Students (students entering 6th through 12th grade)

Each day students will divide their time between learning the latest dance moves and learning how to DJ on the radio. Not only will students walk away with some new dance steps, but they will each have an opportunity to DJ live on the Bellarmine radio station. ($150)

Improvisation
All Students (students entering 6th through 12th grade)

This afternoon camp will teach students to unleash their creative improvisational skills. With skits and prompts, our improvisational troupe directors enable students to think on their feet in a humorous fashion. ($150)

Robotics
Students entering 7th through 9th grade

This intensive four-week camp teaches students the fundamentals of building a robot for competition. Students will learn the physics and engineering behind the robot. ($600)

Robotics Programming
Students entering 10th through 12th grade with robotics experience OR
Students entering 7th through 9th grade who have completed the 4 week Robotics camp

One week of intensive work learning the C programming language and applying it to robotics. Students will have the opportunity to build their own robot or use pre-built robots. The robots will have sensors, which will be utilized by the student created programs to automate the movements of the robots.($175)

Stagecraft
Students entering 9th through 12th grade

This hands-on camp will offer students the opportunity to use lighting equipment, sound equipment, the rigging and fly system, and work in the scene shop. Students will gain knowledge and an appreciation of what goes on behind the scenes of a theatre. No experience required. Camp limited to 15 students. ($600)
