Students, faculty and staff joined forces with Jesuit schools in Europe, Latin America and across the United States to raise funds for Ignacianos Por Haiti, a Jesuit campaign to improve education in Haiti. As a result of a collection of monies during one class period on May 3rd, in addition to a lunchtime sale of sausage sandwiches and chips, we raised $1467.
Thirty Bellarmine athletes have been named to the West Catholic Athletic League’s All-League Teams for spring sports. In addition, Brian Tashjian and Michael Standifer were named Doubles Team of the Year in tennis.
Six members of our African American Student Union were honored by the Santa Clara County Alliance of Black Educators (SCCABE) on May 6th. Seniors Vanns Codrington, Tim Crawley, Nick Handy, Gabe Jacobs, Alex Manigo and Giovan Shepard were recognized at the organization's 23rd Annual Student Recognition Program.
