Stagecraft & Theater Tech

Over the past several decades, numerous graduates of our stagecraft program have won scholarships to national and international universities, including one veteran currently finishing his Ph.D. in technical theatre at Yale. When one comes to see a Bellarmine show, please know that the set is built entirely by students; the teacher/moderators only monitor for safety. Students are also given hands-on training in lighting, sound, and set design, and during performances the crew of stage managers, lighting technicians, sound managers is entirely comprised of our students. Theatre Tech uses approximately 35 to 50 students per year, welcoming freshmen through seniors.
