Beneficiaries (Our Purpose)
Bellarmine College Preparatory is committed to assist, as far as its resources allow, every qualified student with verifiable financial need. The Financial Aid Program is funded through the earnings of permanent endowment established by donors for this purpose and by direct annual sponsorships. It is a major priority of Bellarmine’s development activities to work toward increasing these funds so that we will always be able to meet this commitment. The demand for financial aid is at an all-time high for the 2008-2009 school year – 20% of students will receive over $2.4 million in aid.
Financial aid is granted purely on the basis of need and includes a Work Grant component that requires each student with aid to work a number of hours at school. The exact number of hours worked is dependent upon the amount of financial aid awarded.
