AMEN organizes a series of interest groups. For information about any of the interest groups, or to discuss forming a new interest group, contact Norene Rusteen.

The Second Generation Book Club - Meets the first Monday evening of each month. A wide variety of books are discussed, including classics, mysteries, fiction and nonfiction. Contact: Sheree Williams Community Volunteer Opportunities - Opportunities will be posted each month of organizations AMEN members are involved with. Contact:: Norene Rusteen The Daytime Book Club - Meets the third Thursday of each month at 11:30am. We meet at a restaurant at Santana Row for lunch and to discuss the current book. New members are always welcome. Contact: Janice Morimoto Done in a Day - Meetings TBA Contact: Celeste Martin Melehan The Garden Club - Attend a variety of events embracing the flora and fauna in the Bay Area. Contact: Kathleen Santora, Ann Rogerson The Movie and Theatre Group - Events are announced via email once per month including a daytime and an evening movie. Attendance is not mandatory. Contact: Nancy Franich The Food and Wine Group - Contact: Looking for a new leader of this interest group. The Golf Group - Contact: Looking for a new leader of this interest group. The Needlework and Crafts Group - Meets at 6:30pm the second Wednesday of each month at St. Martin's of Tours Pastoral Center in San Jose. Individual projects are worked on, as well as group projects that are donated to needy causes. If you are not sure how to knit or crochet, members will be happy to show you. Contact: Jeanette Perra The Gallery Tour and Lunch Group - The group meets for a couple of events per year.. Contact: Susan Lynch The Hiking Group - Hikes are offered different days of each week in various locations such as the Quiksilver Trail off MacAbee in Almaden Valley, Los Gatos Creek Trail, The Stanford Dish and Rancho San Antonio.
