About Us
Every mother with an enrolled son at Bellarmine is automatically a member of the Mothers’ Guild. There are no dues or registration required.
Mother Theresa said, "In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love." Mothers' Guild activities are a collection of “small things”, but when infused with great love, our work has profound impacts on the Bellarmine community.
The Mothers’ Guild plans events, open to all Bellarmine moms, to bring our community together, such as the Mother-Son Liturgy in the Fall, the Fall and Spring Special Events or general meetings with special guest speakers. We also lend our organizational talents to Bellarmine for events such as Senior Picnic, Confirmation reception and the proms.
- To build a strong community by fostering a Christian spirit of friendship
- To promote Jesuit education and Ignatian philosophy by being "Women for Others"
- To support Bellarmine’s goals and projects.

The Mothers’ Guild plans events to bring our community together, such as the Mother-Son Liturgy in the fall, or the Mother-Son Event in January or a general meeting with a renown speaker. We also lend our organizational talents to Bellarmine for events such as the Baccalaureate and Confirmation receptions and the proms. We provide needed volunteer help with the Christian Service department, Solidarity Dinner, mailings for Bellarmine and in setting tables and providing hospitality. We invite you to join us as we build community through working together on these projects — click here to volunteer.
The Mothers’ Guild has only one fundraiser, the annual Fashion Show for Financial Aid, led by the Fashion Show Chairs (who are Mothers’ Guild board members) and their committee. You can volunteer to help with the Fashion Show by clicking here.
