  • Tennis, Volleyball WCAL All League Teams Announced

    The West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) announced their all league selections for tennis and volleyball. Tennis standout Andrew Ton was named Player of the Year, and received First Team honors along with teammates Vikram Vasan and Thomas Noonen. Jacques Abi-Hanna was a First Team selection for volleyball.

    Bellarmine Celebrates 100 Years of Football

    Nearly 300 people attended Bellarmine College Preparatory’s Breakfast with Bells the morning of April 16. The event, held in the Patrick Wayne Valley Memorial Gym on campus, was a fundraiser for the school’s Athletic Fields and Track Renovation Project, and celebrated 100 years of Bellarmine football.

  • Team 254 Wins Silicon Valley Regional Robotics Competition

    Team 254 took first place in the Silicon Valley Regional (SVR) FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) held April 6-9 at San Jose State University. Competing with alliance partners, Team 1678 from Davis, CA, and Team 1662 from Lodi, CA, this is the ninth consecutive year the team, also known as the Cheesy Poofs, have won SVR.

  • Golfers Take 1st at The Palmetto

    Varsity golfers took first place at The Palmetto in Myrtle Beach, SC. The team of Eddy Lai, Boots Del Biaggio, Berk Harvvey, Austin Murphy and Jensen Li scored a 552, 16 under par, to secure the championship title over Waccamaw High School, which came in at +6, 574.

    Soccer players Marte Formico '16 and Connor Brady '17 were named as the West Catholic Athletic League's (WCAL) Defender of the Year and Midfielder of the Year respectively. They also received First Team honors, along with Dylan Carruba '16. Jake Wojcik '18 was selected First Team All League in basketball.

    The National Merit Scholarship Program has announced that all 15 of our semifinalists in the academic competition have qualified as finalists. These young men will now be considered for National Merit Scholarships to be offered in 2016.
