Smash Hunger! Support the Spring Food Drive

Posted: April 8, 2019

Our annual Spring Food Drive, benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank, runs Monday, April 8 through Thursday, April 18. With one in three local children at risk of hunger, our goal this year is to provide enough food and funds to provide 16,500 meals.

This year's theme is Soup-er Smash Bros: Smash Hunger! You can help by bringing food donations to Bellarmine. Most needed items include:

  • meals in a can e.g., stew, chili, soup
  • tuna / canned meat
  • peanut butter
  • canned food with pop-top lids
  • low-sugar cereals
  • 100% fruit juices

Food donation may be dropped off before and after school at the end of the Liccardo parking lot (by the overpass) or at the Emory Street drop-off point. Students will also see bins at various locations on campus.

Monetary donations may also be made online.

Thanks in advance for helping us respond to the call to feed the hungry in our midst, and providing the nutrition children need to fulfill their potential and realize their dreams!
