Posted: June 21, 2016

Fifteen Bells competed in the National Speech and Debate Tournament in Salt Lake City June 12-17. Graduating seniors Vinay Ayappan and Ani Prabhu continued to excel in their specialty of Policy Debate, placing second in that event.

"This was the first time since 2006 that a Bellarmine team advanced to the finals in Policy Debate," said coach DeeDee Sullivan. "Ani and Vinay are very, very good, so there is no shame in this loss.
