Cross Country Teams Finish League Season on Top

Bells cross country swept the league season, earning West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) championship titles at all four divisions for the eighth consecutive year. The titles are the ninth consecutive for the freshman, junior varsity and varsity teams.

The junior varsity team turned in a perfect score of 15 in their race, and the varsity ran the 19th fastest team time in the history of the Crystal Spring course, and the fourth fastest time by any school since 1987.

Sophomore: 1st - BCP 40; 2nd - St. Ignatius 46; 3rd - St. Francis 61. Bellarmine's top seven runners: 2. Ross D'Orfani; 6. Luigi Zialcita; 7. Daniel LeClair; 12. Andrew Romero; 13. Thomas Clark; 15. Scott Anderson; 20. Justin Seidel

Junior Varsity: 1st - BCP 15; 2nd - St. Francis 51; 3rd - St. Ignatius 87. Bellarmine's top seven runners: 1. Derek Shiu; 2. Neerav Gade; 3. Joseph Deck; 4. Matthew Busse; 5. Ben Micallef; 6. Marcus Avila; 9 Daniel Gurza

Varsity: 1st - BCP 20; 2nd - St. Francis 67; 3rd - St. Ignatius 74. Bellarmine's top six runners (because we only ran 6): 1. Meika Beaudoin-Rousseau; 2. Matt Richardson; 4. Donald Welsh; 6. Alex Scales; 7. Thomas Busse; 12. Dylan Doblar

The Bells move on to Central Coast Section (CCS) Championships on November 14 at Crystal Springs.

    Bellarmine proved its athleticism and depth, bringing home West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) championship titles in golf, swimming and diving, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. The performances of 33 Bells earned them positions on WCAL All League teams.

  • Team 254 Victorious at World Championships

    Robotics Team 254, The Cheesy Poofs, earned their fourth world championship title at the annual FIRST Championship held April 18-21 in Houston, Texas. With titles in 2011, 2014, 2017 and now 2018, their performance not only ties the world record for most championship titles, but caps the team’s undefeated season with a record of 53-0-0, making them the only team in FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) history to win every single match in a season.
