Cast for Spring Comedy I Hate Hamlet Announced

Jeremy Lum, director of Bellarmine's spring production of I Hate Hamlet, has announced its cast.

In continuing our focus on gender, our Summit on Human Dignity theme for the year, all roles were double cast. Cast A is cast along traditional gender norms, while cast B will be gender-swapped, bringing to question the gender normsl of these characters in how they are portrayed.

    Team 254, the Cheesy Poofs, spent the days leading up to spring break participating in the FIRST Championship in Houston, TX. After winning the Turing subdivision, the Poofs moved through round-robin matches to qualify for the championship game. Although they did not win the world championship this year (Team 254 holds four championship titles), the team put forth amazing effort, and represented Bellarmine well, displaying tremendous dedication and sportsmanship throughout the four-day tournament.

    Our annual Spring Food Drive, benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank, runs Monday, April 8 through Thursday, April 18. With one in three local children at risk of hunger, our goal this year is to provide enough food and funds to provide 16,500 meals.

    The 35th annual Kiwanis-Bellarmine track meet, i.e., K-Bell, was held on March 9th at Westmont High School. The joint venture between Bellarmine and the Kiwanis Club of West San Jose has become one of the premiere track and field events in the area, the proceeds of which go entirely to charity.
