Danielle Ramo, PhD, seasoned UCSF professor and substance abuse researcher, will shed light on current products accessible to teens, demystify terminology (vaping, dabbing, 'juuling'?) and examine how recent social trends and policies, such as cannabis legislation, are influencing teen use.

Dr. Ramo will also share crucial evidence of the effects of substance use on the adolescent brain and behavior. Finally, parents will hear realistic and innovative strategies for addressing teen substance use in our complicated social and political climate.
