Audition for the BCP Spring Production of Assistance

Posted: March 7, 2018

Auditions for Bellarmine's Spring production of Assistance will be held on March 14 and 15, 2018 in Sobrato Theatre.

In Leslye Headland's comedy-drama Assistance, life is an endless series of humiliations for a team of young assistants working for a high-powered mogul. In rare moments of calm when the phone calls stop rolling, Nick and Nora and their traumatized co-workers question the choices that led them - and keep them - there. This biting, high-octane satire reflects on the pitfalls of a cult of personality, toxic workplaces, and what an individual is willing to sacrifice to serve ambition and greed. From the writer-director of the film Bachelorette.

"...the theatrical equivalent of a triple-shot espresso, bristling with propulsive nerviness and high style ...ferociously funny." ~ LA Times
