Bells Named to All-Bay Area News Group Baseball Team

Four Bells are included among the Bay Area News Group's selections for the high school All-Bay Area Baseball Teams.

Outfielder Connor Mack '17, who was the West Catholic Athletic League (WCAL) player of the year received a First Team nod. Todd Jackson '17, catcher, was named Second Team, with Wes Harper '18 and Laurence Palmer '17 earning spots on the Honorable Mention roster.

    The only time high school teammates have ever opposed each other in a US Junior Amateur final was in 1962, when Jim Wiechers beat James Sullivan at Lochmoor Golf Club in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. Both attended Bellarmine - Wiechers Class of 1962 and Sullivan Class of 1965. This year, a pair of recent Bellarmine graduates – Eddy Lai and Berk Harvey – would like to follow in their footsteps.
