Lenten Food Drive: Our Shot to Help End Local Hunger

Posted: March 31, 2017

All are invited to participate in Bellarmine’s Lenten Food Drive from April 3-13. Please be part of Can-ilton: Our Shot to Help End Local Hunger! We'll be collecting food and funds to support Second Harvest Food Bank in its mission to feed the 1 in 3 kids in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties who need food assistance.

Can we count on you to help us reach our Drive goal of providing 15,000 meals for our neighbors? Your generosity has helped Bellarmine earn a Platinum Level Award from Second Harvest for the past two years. Let’s go for Platinum again!

Please bring non-perishable food items to the far end of the Liccardo parking lot or the Emory Street drop off before or after school during the Drive. Or, to support our efforts with a monetary donation, Donate Here.

The Food Bank accepts all non-perishable food donations, but especially needs these nutritious items: meals in a can (stew, chili, soup), tuna and canned meat, peanut butter, canned foods with pop-top lids, and low-sugar cereals. Please do not donate items packaged in glass.

If you have any questions, please contact Anne Maloney in the Christian Service office at amaloney@bcp.org or (408) 537-9291.

Thank you for your generous support of our local community! Go Bells!
