BCP Community Responds to "Fight the Freeze"

Posted: November 30, 2016

The community response to our Winter Warmth Drive "Fight the Freeze" was tremendous. We are overwhelmed by the generosity of students, families, faculty and staff, which yielded a collection of 900 blankets, throws and sleeping bags, and bags full of warm clothing, beanies and socks for HomeFirst and Sacred Heart Community Service.

The drive was coordinated through our Christian Service Program, with assistance from AGAPE student leadership. In addition to the campus-wide drive, several groups held special collections including our football, ice hockey and cross country teams, the Big Brothers and freshmen (whose sock drive yielded 1,182 pair of socks), the Mothers' Guild and Dads' Club, and our Campus Ministry department, which incorporated the use and subsequent donation of blankets - 400 en total - into our Thanksgiving Prayer Service.

Thank you to our IncrediBELL supporters!
