Spirituality

Daily Prayer

Each morning begins with a prayer led by a student, faculty or staff member for the entire community. Teachers are strongly encouraged to begin each class with a prayer.

The community takes 5 minutes at the beginning of the day on Monday and Friday to pray The Examen of Consciousness, based upon the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, in order for all to become more aware of God's loving presence.

Prayer Service

The entire school community gathers for a Thanksgiving Ecumenical Prayer Service to thank God for its blessings, including the diversity of faiths represented by the students and faculty. Opportunities for reflection and prayer are offered at various other times throughout the school year.

Christian Life Communities

Small groups of students form CLC groups to support one another in living a Christian lifestyle. Ignatian spirituality is at the heart of these students' desire to form community, to pray and to live their lives in service to others.

Spiritual Counseling

Members of the Campus Ministry staff are available for individual personal and spiritual counseling.
