The Sacraments

Eucharist

Liturgy is celebrated daily from 12:12 pm until 12:30 pm in the Leontyne Chapel.

Once a month, the entire school community is invited to come together in worship and thanksgiving. Various campus organizations prepare a Mass designed around the liturgical season or a social justice concern.

Students are invited to lector, sing in the choir, share reflections, and serve as Eucharistic Ministers.

The Bells Choir is a student choir that rehearses weekly and performs at liturgies and other school-related functions. Interested students should contact Mr. Mikael Meyer at .

There are also four all-school liturgies, including the Mass of the Holy Spirit, which inaugurates the school year.

Prior to Graduation, seniors come together with families, faculty, and staff for the Baccalaureate Liturgy.

Reconciliation

During the seasons of Advent and Lent the students are given the opportunity through Religious Studies classes to participate in a communal prayer service in the Leontyne Chapel, privately reflect, make an examination of conscience, and celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Confirmation

In cooperation with the Religious Studies Department, seniors who have not been able to arrange for Confirmation in their local parish may complete their preparation at Bellarmine. A special Confirmation ceremony is planned in cooperation with the Diocese of San Jose.
