Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD)
Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) provides access services to Bellarmine College Preparatory’s academic programs for academically-qualified students with disabilities. Types of disabilities include medical, physical, psychological, attention-deficit, and learning disabilities. Reasonable accommodations are provided to minimize the effects of a student’s disability and to maximize the potential for success. Students must have current and appropriate documentation to qualify for services. Bellarmine’s SSD Brochure describes services and qualification requirements.
Contact the SSD Coordinator, Judy Bury Alessandri, for further information.
The Academic Resource Center (ARC)

Small group and individual support for students related to topics such as learning style and study strategies is provided by ARC staff. In addition,drop-in tutoring assistance is available for subject review and reinforcement by ARC staff and volunteer adult tutors. Students may utilize the center's PC and Apple computers and a printer for completion of homework, research and projects.
The ARC is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, and Friday, 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.
Tutorial Society
The Tutorial Society is an in-house peer tutoring organization. Started more than 20 years ago, student volunteers provide one-on-one tutoring support to their peers, exemplifying Bellarmine's philosophy that students bring their God-given talents to fullness and live according to a pattern of service. Approximately 30-40 students provide tutoring services each year, in required coursework such as history, mathematics and languages.
