Faculty & Staff

One of Bellarmine’s finest resources is its talented and dedicated faculty. Bellarmine faculty members are passionate about the work they do, and are strongly committed to their students.

Bellarmine’s average class size of 25 students enables faculty members to get to know their students personally. The Jesuits call this cura personalis – care for the individual – and it is one of the hallmarks of a Jesuit education. When faculty members express this concern for their students on a regular basis, the results are tremendous. Students succeed and thrive because they work with adults who are committed to seeing them do well – to cultivating their God-given talents to their fullest.

Nearly 70 percent of Bellarmine’s faculty members hold advanced degrees in the subjects they teach, including several faculty members with doctorates. More than 25 current faculty and staff members are graduates of Bellarmine, while many other faculty members are products of some of the other 45 Jesuit high schools or 28 Jesuit colleges around the country. This personal experience with Jesuit education makes for a faculty that is deeply committed to the Jesuit motto of forming “men and women for and with others.”
