2018 - 2019 Theatre Productions

Fall: Macbeth

PERFORMANCES: October 26-28; November 1-3

As Bellarmine explores issues involving gender this year, we will produce Shakespeare’s shortest tragedy, and highlight its motifs of masculinity and violence. Featuring fortune-telling witches (“Double double toil and trouble”), bloody hands (“out damned spot”), hallucinations (“Is this a dagger which I see before me?”), not to mention ghosts, sword fights, and assassinations, this production will live up to its own famous line, “something wicked this way comes.”
